Working in the Department of Art, you will work within the context of student-centred learning and assist the Department to achieve its strategic objectives. The Curating Programme is situated within one of the preeminent art schools in the country, and is committed to practice and research at an international level. It is now working towards building a Gallery and Curatorial Research Centre, in which you would be expected to play a defining role.

You will have a PhD or equivalent professional experience in an appropriate field, a proven record of achievement in research at an exceptional level as a professional curator of contemporary art with an international reputation. You will also have knowledge of art education policy as it impacts on learning and teaching, as well as an understanding of current developments in art and its critical and academic contexts.
