CEC ArtsLink is still accepting applications for two exclusive art programs: ArtsLink Residencies 2010 and ArtsLink Independent Projects. The application deadline is only a couple weeks away: December 1, 2009! ArtsLink Residencies is an exclusive five-week residency program at an established, non-profit arts organization in the United States, where visiting artists get a chance to work and interact with their local hosts. ArtsLink Independent Projects, a separate program, offers individual grants up to $5,000 to eligible candidates. Please follow this link for eligibility and application guidelines. CEC ArtsLink is an international arts organization, which promotes and supports cultural exchange of artists and cultural managers between the United States and Eastern and Central Europe, Russia, Central Asia and the Caucasus. Founded in 1962, CEC ArtsLink has solid expertise in cultural diplomacy and lasting partnerships in 30 countries.

ArtsLink Residencies provide artists and arts managers with a unique experience relevant to their professional and creative goals. Residencies incorporate the visiting professional into the host organization's activities and provide interaction with local artists and organizations.

NOTE: The 2010 ArtsLink Residencies Program is open to artists and arts managers working in visual and media arts. Artists and arts managers working in dance, music, theater and literature may apply in December 2010 for the 2011 Residencies program. The selection process is extremely competitive and applicants should anticipate a highly rigorous review of their work.
